Sorry Lipe, but I disagree with you. Why is good for Minas and for FIAT ??
People from MG can travel to FCO with one stop in GRU or LIS. For MXP as well.
For FIAT, MXP is much more convenient.
I think is great for GIG and I applaud it.
But for us here in CNF nothing changes in my humble opinion.

What happen is that Italy for Minas is more than just Fiat and it's an alternative. Of course if it's thru MXP would make more sense, with no doubt.
