TACV - Cabo Verde Airlines (VR, Praia) has announced the suspension of flight operations until Monday, September 11, citing a lack of serviceable aircraft.

The Cape Verde carrier said in a statement issued on Wednesday, September 6, that with its only aircraft, B757-200 D4-CBP (msn 30045), currently out of service, it had failed to source replacement capacity. As a result, it would have to suspend flights for a period of six days.

"All passengers will be rerouted on flights from third-party companies, depending on the availability of seats," it said.

According to Flightradar24 ADS-B data, D4-CBP is currently at Providence where it has been since September 1.

TACV uses the twinjet to service flights from Praia to Providence, Lisbon, Recife, Fortaleza, São Vicente, Rotterdam, and Paris CDG.
