FCRO
Turkish airline AtlasGlobal has announced that it is ‘temporarily’ suspending all flight operations until December 21st. This is due to financial difficulties, the 2001-founded carrier states. Economic instabilities in Turkey, as well as the move to Istanbul’s new airport have contributed to that, it said in an email announcement. The airline’s website is no longer available. It has cut its staff to a minimum and plans to announce further information on December 16th. AtlasGlobal’s fleet consists of eleven leased Airbus airplanes, including three A330-200 and A320 family aircraft. That is less than half the fleet it operated two years ago. A significant amount of its planes was returned to leasing companies during 2018. A subsidiary of the airline, AtlasGlobal Ukraine, operates one single Airbus A320 for the parent. It is currently unclear what will happen with this aircraft and the subsidiary. mais uma se juntando ao grupo esse ano: adria, thomas cook, aigle azur, avianca br, germania, insel, jet airways, peruvian, wow, xl, entre outros
